Beat/pulse is a very simple app to get an accurate heart beat \nmeasurement, quickly. It's open source,\n so pull requests are welcome, \nand it's on\n Google play.
The way you use it is by \npressing a \nbutton every time you feel your pulse. But if the same hand presses the \nbutton that is being measured, it becomes very difficult to feel \nlegitimate pulses. However if you measure your neck, this problem goes \naway. Or you could get a friend to help you. ;-) \n
It's an app \nthat I've wanted for ages. But more than that, it's an app for getting me\n acquainted with the specifics of publishing an app to Google play. \n
I\n ended up changing the name a little to avoid confusion with a \npreexisting app (that's actually very different, but still, it was there\n first.) I promise I searched before using that name, but either it was \nanother case of Google trying to show me what it thinks I want instead \nof what I'm asking for, or I simply made a mistake. - Both are \nplausible.
I then changed it once more to fix the \ndecimated SEO \ncaused by the name not having anything about it that was easy to search \nfor. It turns out the name is very important in Google play! \n... I'm happy with it now! ;-)
This should go without saying, but just in case: Nothing in this app should be taken as medical advise. For that see your doctor.
If \nit's useful to you, great. Otherwise you might want to check out the ton\n of heart beat apps on Google play that measure your pulse using the \ncamera on your phone.
